broad, brewed black fruit nose; big attack, potent, violet/cassis, more heat than usual. Big but not out of control. 2009 on. 2016/19.
raspberry/earth/meaty nose; pretty red fruits, tasty, clear width. Peppery tannins, length good. True local feel. 2005 on. 2017/20
