bright, inviting purple-red robe. There is fresh and lively fruit on the nose, black cherries with a sweet tone, and some iodine, mixed herbs. The palate is also lively, bright, runs with free black fruits, cherries; the tannins are supple, and they provide a little gain in depth towards the finish, where there are black olives, black jam flavours. This is w.o.w. wine that drinks freshly, with gusto. Rosemary and licorice combine on the aftertaste. This captures local colour, which is a good trait. It’s very charming. 13.5°. 80% Syr, 20% Gren. 50,000 b. To 2019 Sept 2017

has a supple, nice black jam aroma with a little damp leaf in it as well, and meaty airs. The palate fruit is well defined, comes in a red jam style and also persists. There is ripe Syrah noticeable here. Solid, reliable wine, its length is OK. It drinks well now – with stews, for instance. 13.5°. To 2009. Feb 2006
