2019 ()

(4 yr 600-litre cask, bottling Dec 2020) shiny, quite full red robe. Has a sweet toned nose, led by raspberry fruit; it holds well, and is wide, has spark, violet dabs. The palate serves red stone fruits, with lift in the tannins, good iron, plenty of that. The length is good, and there’s lots to come. It’s very handsome, interesting, beau, and the finish is ace. “It has a lot of foundation, is very continuous, and its attractive tannins are well fresh,” François Ribo. From 2022. 2038-40 Nov 2019

2018

(600-litre cask) full red; elder, blueberry fruit, licorice appear on the nose, some beef stock depth with them. The attack is immediate, bears cherry fruits with a stream of spearmint tannins, rather thick juice, sunny and supple gras at its heart. The aftertaste delivers smoky cherry stone. It continues well. 2032-35 Nov 2018

2016

dark red; black cherry, blackcurrant bud airs, some suavity on the nose, a note of licorice, smoke, a touch of perfume. The palate holds engaging black fruits, with quiet late intensity, linger. It has mineral, wax elements, holds well, opens and goes further with air. There are fine powder-rock tannins here. 2031-33 Nov 2018
