dark red; lush, ample, immediate burst of black cherry on the nose, oxtail and a note of blood. The palate has a good elegant start, gains pebbly powder texture, the end tarry, a note of nutshells, salted threads, live raspberry, notes of pepper, the texture suave. This is a Road Runner Crozes, w.o.w. wine. 13.5°. 37,500 b. This cuvée has now become all zero added SO2. Bottled July 2019. To 2025 Feb 2020

rather full red robe. Stewed red fruits, plums, strawberry mix up well in a nicely Redondo, rather plump bouquet. The palate has a subdued start, bears raspberry-red berry with gummy tannins, a squeezy texture. This works almost more on texture than fruit vivacity, a juicy suppleness [souplesse sounds better], ending on that. The length is sound, the end note quietly chewy. 13°. Bottled June 2018. 2024-25 Dec 2018
