soft yellow robe. The nose is fresh enough to suggest gooseberry, backed by a more deep white plum, custard-flan setting. The palate is serene, bears cosy white fruit with a supple texture, and runs with steady length. Chicken dishes, noodles, steamed fish for this. There is some glow on the aftertaste. mild, steady yellow. Has a ripe tangerine, spice and vanilla aroma that features in a weighty bouquet. The palate is subdued, but well ensemble; there are hints of white peach and nectarine with a nutty angle behind the fruit. Has poise, promise, is agreeably supple, and stylish. The finish is quiet and collected, the depth sound. Decant it. 13°. 30,000 b. €3.25 ex cellars, sound VALUE. To 2018  Oct 2013
