dark plum red robe. Crushed plums, red berries with a salty spice are present on the nose, an iodine angle. The palate is speckled with white pepper, cooked plum fruit. The tannins are rather dry, and the content recedes on the finish. It holds dark, smoky matter, but the tannins on the second half are a slight concern, though they ease with 30 minutes air. The aftertaste is still on the dry side after airing. 14.5°. 10,213 b, 560 mags. 55% Gren, 45% Syr. Syrah harvested 11-22 Sept, Grenache 28 Sept. Bottled 21 July 2016. To 2021 Sept 2017 Previously June 2016 **(*) (vat/casks) medium red robe. The nose gives an immediate, plush raspberry aroma, a note of licorice adding cut and thrust. It is pretty shapely. This is supple, big and brewed, with alcohol an issue despite its fleshy content and trail of kirsch-raspberry. It needs further refinement and collusion between its different forces. There are salty touches in its late moments. The question is: can it integrate, has it the balance? Largely I veer towards Nyet. Its flashy spring sofa fullness will attract supporters. The glow on the finish is disconcerting, and this will never be a free drinking wine. 15.5°. From mid-2017. To 2021  June 2016
