2013 ()

Bottle 1: dark red colour. The nose is tainted, as is the dry palate. Bottle 2: dark red; black cherry first aroma with a supple nature, quiet sweetness. It is a trim start. The palate runs clearly, carries smoky, dentelle black berry fruit, is appealingly fresh. This gives attractive drinking, is on the go now. There is a touch of grainy tannin on the finish. It ends with lift. 13.5°. 26,400 b. €17.50. 60% Gren, 30% Syr, 10% Mourv. 2022-23  Dec 2015

2012

dark red; friendly sweetness centres on a fluid berry, raspberry fruit, coulis in style, comes with a bit of smoke, lead pencil. The palate gives tasty, straight down the line red berry fruit. The tannins are soft, flexible, integrated. This expresses sun and warm climes in its fruit roundness. Rosemary and laurel creep into the picture on the finish. Perfectly agreeable. Bottled Sept 2013. €17.50 at cellars. 25,000 b. 2018-19  Dec 2013
