2018

(bottling imminent) dark red; has a Southern sector of Crozes aroma, “bubbling” fruit, wild blackberries, licorice, some herbes de Provence. The palate shows carbonic gas, fruit lozenges with a plump debut, before more tannic delivery into a smoky finale, the length good – it takes off suddenly. There’s a lactic note and it crunches close together on the close. It doesn’t quite hit the mark. €7.50 2026-27 Dec 2019
