(tank, bottling imminent) dark red; there is a gentle sweep of cassis, blue fruit, across the nose, comes with salt-iodine touches. The palate delivers a road tar, gummy pastille flavour, engaging freedom in it – lines of black fruits with a fresh inner, a food spring in its step, the fruit racy. It ends roundly, has calm, shapely tannins. It has good energy, will be best drunk young, is w.o.w. wine, very 2018. 70% Gren, 30% Syr. €5. 2027-28 Dec 2019

clear red colour. Raspberry, dark red berry airs amount to a good swirl on the nose, which has licorice, bite, breeze, light oaking. The palate has a dentelle, very 2014, toothsome start, holds fresh and brisk red fruit for animated drinking, a good solo glass on the agenda here. It lengthens with tight freshness, cut. Has good animo. 14°. 2023-24 Nov 2016 GB £80 12/b in bond Justerini & Brooks www.justerinis.com Previously Dec 2015 ***(*) (tank, bottling tomorrow) dark, deep robe. There are soft, pliant airs of black cherry on the nose, with a light note of licorice, flowers, fruit lozenges. There is a low-key hover of flowers in this well struck nose. The palate gives steady fruit, nice and clear it is, running with gusto. The fruit is juicy, bright, has real good pep in it, shows some carbonic gas – there is 350 mg of it. Attractive, live, w.o.w. wine. 2020-21 GB £69/12 b in bond Wine Society www.thewinesociety.com  Dec 2015 GB £80 12 b in bond Justerini & Brooks www.justerinis.com

shiny red robe. Airs of tea, smoked bacon, red fruits pastilles lead the bouquet, and serve as a good, upfront debut, one that is varied and interesting. The palate bears easy rolling black fruit, licorice, the tannins mild and supple, the texture coated. It is a wee bit pumped up, glossy. 14.5°. 2020-22  GB £80 12/b in bond or £10.46 Justerini & Brooks www.justerinis.com Nov 2015

various casks Cask 1 **(*) (from Rasteau, mainly Syrah, die to be racked since it is reductive) broad aroma, dark airs, good depth, soild enough. Berried fruit with a nice point of sweetness, good Syrah drive in this rather tasty wine. 6 years. Cask 2 **(*) (Cairanne, mainly Grenache) dark red, black. Floral little top air, reductive, some tannin within, pebbly notes. Good clear red and black berry fruit on the palate. It is fresh to the end which is rounded. Licorice aftertaste. Good fruit here. Cask 3 (Rasteau Grenache) cherry red robe. Fine redcurrant fruit aroma, a bit baked in nature. Quietly straight donw the line palate with a cool, elegant style. White pepper finish. OVERALL *** this is a very correct 2008, life up to 7 years. Dec 2009 33,000 b this year

dark robe; blackberry, licorice, concentrated nose. Well-knit, black fruit, tannin thread along the palate that broadens well, gains some chewy tannins at the end. Good, honest drinking with some fullness, late life – has a black pepper aftertaste. 2014-15 Dec 2009 93,000 b this year

peppery/brewed mix on bouquet. Direct fruit with some richness, earthy attachments. Promising. 2011-14
