(concrete vat) very deep, dark red. The nose has a ripe fruit overhang, prune and jam aromas such as mulberry with red meat connotations; it’s pretty deep. The palate runs graciously with an attractive roll of dark red berry fruit, has charge in its late stages, a welling out of power on the sustained, assertive finish. Decant it.
