steady, quite full red. The bouquet is nicely liberal – gives an aroma of blackberry fruit, with immediate airs of herbs and a rose scent. This is a joli nose, very charming and inviting. This is light, free drinking wine: it has a littler soft fruit, a squelchy moment in mid-palate - that small ball of succulence resembles a plump fruit lozenge. It ends roundly with a note of tannic darkness, is a peppery wine that gives real easy drinking. Can be drunk solo, definitely, is a w.o.w. wine. Goes down well, declares its case openly, not a wine to study. Has enough depth of fruit to go well with baked salmon. 13.5°. To 2017  Dec 2014

dark tints in the red robe. This shows mild red plum fruit on the nose, has a curvy air. There are notes of smoky mulberry, blueberry, and it is nicely varied. The palate mixes licorice, elder, blueberry fruit has a fresh line through it. The ending is safe – round, collected, clear and salty. It gains and shows latent power on the finish. Good, well-filled wine. Has ways to go. 14.5°. 2016-17  May 2013
