dark red robe, sheen in it. Iodine notes, blueberry fruit, a backdrop of blackberry – this is a well assembled bouquet, all together, not quite unfurled yet. Its fruit is joli, and it’s harmonious, appealing. The palate holds stylish content and fruit, blackberries, inkiness, notes of cocoa. Its juiciness brings a lip smack finale, is pleasurable. It’s all well connected from start to finish, is tasty at heart, with good life in the fruit. Unpretentious, good quality here, the balance on the mark: this is shapely, enjoyable. 15°. 10,000 b. 50% Gren, 30% Syr, 15% Cins, 5% Mourv. £12.99 in GB. 2027-29 Oct 2018
