dark red. Soft, slightly fleeting red berry aroma, raspberry with blackberry also. It’s mildly sweet, a bit simple. The palate connects to the nose via a supple content with sweetness and a lozenge-like flavour, mulberry fruit, soaked fruits. There’s a hint of degree towards the finish, the content not quite in step with it all the way. It’s a bit top heavy, is in the here and now. The second half fades. This is second division Lirac in such a great vintage. OK with stews. 14.5°. To 2021 Aug 2018
