2007 ()

has a complex, arresting bouquet - perfumed, aromatic, violet and briar lands aroma, hints of chocolate, but also there are mineral, smoke and licorice airs. Fine-tuned, attractive fruit on the palate, gains a flourish and expression as it goes. The fruit is clear and offers lithe bounty. 2020-22. “A very small crop – it was a heat vintage, the first of recent years of that nature when the grapes suffered, like 2009 in the Rhône. We had the sugars and the phenols blocked, so we waited and fell behind, wanting the tannins to be less green,” Drew Noon. Bottled Sept 2008. Oct 2009
