2007 ()

firm red robe; there is a mild sweet curve on the nose – red fruits, a hint of alcohol, honey and raisin feature in rather a fine affair. Red, frim fruit leads the palate, comes with a fine line of tannin. Clear, mild blackberry flavour. Quietens down towards the finish, not showy there. Drinks now. 14.5°. 2015-16 Oct 2009 A$35

2006

full robe; honey, mild black raisin, compact aroma with a light oak effect. Full, compact palate that has a fibre texture, then a little agreeable sweetness – completes its path well. A good tinkle of clarity makes this very drinkable. Light pepper, licorice aftertaste. 2017-18 Oct 2009 “2006 was the most even growing season of my time here,” Justin McNamee. “I aim for 10 years for my Shiraz.”
