2008 ()

plum red, Pinot style depth to robe, not bright. Open and out, toffee, red fruit nose. Mild sweetness at the start of the palate, gains a steady licorice core as more observable Mourvèdre character comes through. Has a well-founded layer of ripe tannin. The cherry fruit persists at the end. The finish is good and clear, with a hint of herbs and baked stones. A good future lies ahead. 2019-21 Oct 2009 harvested April 2008, bottled Oct 2009
