shiny, bright yellow with some green tints. The bouquet springs forward, with lime juice, ginger, mandarin, greengage plum airs, a good and alert swirl to them. The palate is zesty, live, a touch grilled, gives a citrus fruit run with an underpin of trim richness that adds a little firm, savoury couch, the Grenache blanc performing that role well. It grips well on the close. This is a good meeting of Northern and Southern Rhône white varieties, is well made w.o.w. wine, and will give a lot of immediate pleasure, both for the aperitif and with cold starters, its freshness and length well achieved. 13.5°. 8,000 b. 40% Rouss, 40% Mars, 20% Gren blanc. €10 at the cellars. 2023 Sept 2020

shiny yellow robe. The nose gives a supple aroma of cooked, stewed white fruits, peach, pear and honey. Citrus, cooked lime notes show on the attack, with a good, steady stretch along the palate, and a fine grain finish. This is good for summer dishes, with an interesting character. It ends on a grainy, pebbly note, with grip. 13°. 40% Grenache bl, 40% Marsanne, 20% Picpoul this year. Bottled 15 Feb 2015. To 2017  Apr 2015

yellow robe; pineapple, white raisin, vanilla air. There is an aroma of glazed fruits, white jam – the bouquet is dense, fat, full and broad. The palate is rich – this is a wine engineered to be rich and spiced. There are apricot, red jam notes on the finish. Obviously suited to food. Modern, obvious wine, has fat at its centre. Decant this. 14.5°. To 2016  Oct 2012

flinty, pale yellow. Clear aroma that floats well – peach, white fruits, a clam and steady bouquet. Attractive grip on the palate that is good and together. It runs on well, has bite, freshness, is a bit “steely”. From mid-2011 to loosen. To 2015. 40% Grenache blanc 40% Marsanne 20% Picpoul blanc (1980s, Villedieu) this year. March 2011
