2010 ()

(bottled two weeks ago) salmon, lobster colour robe; this has a Rockabilly bouquet, wham, zap! Caramel, oaking, peach and dried apricot, also quince airs. It is complex, varied and subtle. Its texture is fine, its grip certain. Impressive, since it combines power and elegance - this is Real Wine, wine for la table, not aperitif – take your time with this, it does not need big cooling. It is all well wrapped and the finish brings in redcurrants, flowers, almond, licorice. Deserves high quality cooking. 14°. 2020-21 May 2012
