shiny dark red. Brooding, spiced aroma, black cherry, black pepper, grilled bacon all present. The palate holds suave black cherry fruit, has a Roaix plumpness, intrinsic fat. It ends on that note of fluid, lightly oily fruit, is agreeable, with touches of mint and tar. Nice order to it, all smooth and consecutive. A peppery wine with a fresh finish, the aftertaste tasty. Good now. €7.50 export. 2016-17  Oct 2012

bright, dark red, some black tints. Reduction on the bouquet, but stylish fruit under that, sweet notes in it, and a smoky, cordite influence. The palate builds up well, has a beat of black fruit through it, leading up to clear tannins. Pure fruit length here in this promising wine, and domaine. From late 2012. 2019-20 March 2011
