good dark robe; peppery, full and rather broad nose – shows rose-hip, black pepper, black fruits. The palate is agreeably full of black fruit – it feels good, delivers a little late tannin, has a pepper aftertaste. From late 2010. 13.6°. To 2015. Nov 2009

2007 ()

big robe; oily, blackberry aroma with hints of acetate. The palate is also full, delivers a gush of cassis fruit that is ripe in nature, but has enough acidity to keep moving. Plenty of density in this. Decant this. It needs until around September 2010 to soften, while the bouquet needs air. 2016-17 Nov 2009

2003 ()

baked airs on the nose with some pepper. The palate has a nice, gourmand, full style that persists. The fruit is good and clean-cut with an underlay of agreeable tannin. Nicely solid wine that drinks fine now. Esp 2006 for a bit more. 2011-12 July 2005

1990 ()

thorough, bonny red colour; pretty nose of red berries and trimmings of herbs and game. Clear fruit attack, this wine has very good balance and runs on freshly with a herbal influence present. A beau vin, full of beans. STGT wine. 14.5° 2012-14 Feb 2006
