shiny, quite dark red. The bouquet gives a small intensity of black fruit, a note of licorice and coffee. The palate drinks easily, led by sleek black fruit with smooth tannins. It is a tad simple, but agreeable. 2,500 b. €11. Now to 2018  Jun 2015

2010

dark red. Grilled, red meat, deep air – the nose bears deep-set blackcurrant and blackberry, has lots of licorice, also tar, spice, with oak evident. The palate is wide, expansive, holds free-running fruit, which is followed by a build-up of speckled, pepper tannins (tasted blind: when I see its ID, all Counoise, the tannins are absolutely authentic). All its elements are set to take off around 2015, when it will be as one. The fruit shows a tasty moment which will develop, so it demands be left to encourage that. Has a soaked, meaty aftertaste. there are interesting dashes of light in its fabric. Thoroughly worth investigation. Decant it. 14°. 2021-22.  Oct 2012

2008 ()

(casks, to be bottled summer 2010) dark robe; the aroma is compact, oaked, a bit stiff. Grainy black fruit leads the palate, has oak implanted, tightens at the end. From 2011. 2016. Nov 2009

2007

dark, plenty of black in the robe. Pepper, mulberry, prune jam, blackberry aroma with game, red meat lurking underneath. Interesting, aromatic style black fruit with an extension from its oak. Its swallows its oak, no problem. It ends on fine fruit, the length is sound. From late 2010. 2017-18 Nov 2009

2003 ()

solid bouquet with soaked cherries and a sprinkle of pepper. The palate holds interesting black fruit that accelerates through the palate after a quiet start. Ends on some licorice. The length is good and it has a pretty freshness. 2013-14 July 2005
