2014 ()

full yellow, pale gold colour. The nose is reserved, and decanting would help. There is a light caramel air, nut paste also, a quiet note of peach. The palate has a firm base, runs like that all through. Traditional substance here from Grenache blanc and its fat. Drink with butter based dishes, chicken risotto, mushroom dishes. Good content, a true and traditional white. The finish is both fruited and fresh. Marks for character. 13°. €6.50 at the cellars = VALUE. 2019-20  Jun 2015
