regular red robe; the nose is slightly burnt, has a cordite note, with subdued black fruit below. The palate is grilled on the attack, holds spiced content, all a bit low-key, with pushy tannins that have a dry feel. This isn’t relaxed, is cellar-derived, singed. 14°. 7,330 b. 70% Gren, 20% Syr, 10% Cins. From 2022. 2031-33 Feb 2020

2016 ()

plum red colour. The nose has a stewed fruits aroma, a musky presence, some baked notes. The palate comes with sweet matter, red fruits with a little delicacy and neat sweetness. It’s easy to drink, on the softness of the 2016 vintage, ends roundly, with a dab of minted clarity. It’s an authentic Vacqueyras, without pretension. The tannins can ease a little further into it with another season of time: from spring 2019 for that. 14°. 11,650 b. 70% Gren, 20% Syr, 10% Cins. 2026-28 Feb 2018

dark red. Has a soft hedge berry fruits aroma, a light note of plum spirit. The palate is medium weight, with cooked, clear plum fruit from the Grenache at its centre. It is a little restricted in scope and flesh, but drinks correctly, if quietly. 13.5°. 10,000 b. €10. From mid-2016. 2020-21  Dec 2015

decent red robe; “shiny” bouquet – red jam, fair security and depth in it; in a primary state now, but can make progress and vary with time. Supple, orderly palate; its red fruit peeks out, shows a mild red cherry flavour with some late lip smack. CHR (Café-Hotel-Restaurant) wine – will offer simple pleasure, and will do well with varied flavours and textures. To 2014. July 2010

red, black tints. Attractive cherry first aroma in a lurking bouquet that can deliver more. A little nuttiness around the fruit. Fine quality fruit on the palate, which is abundant and tasty, has a good, sweet, middle zone. Pockets of herb and garrigue on this. It lengthens steadily and well, its balance is good. Ends roundly. Straightforward, no-nonsense wine. To 2017. July 2010
