dark red; the nose is bright, has a bouncy air of blackberry, joli sweetness, is full of beans. The palate mixes licorice, blackberry, smokiness. This is good and drinkable, is a go-go wine. Merlot helps its texture. The finish is crisp. 13.5°. 2017-18 Dec 2015

another w.o.w. wine from the lower decks of 2012, one that extols the vintage thus: quite a dark red. Attractive bouquet displaying berry fruit, a graceful raspberry. There are spiced, sweet spice touches on the palate with light grain tannins present. Harmonious and beau. Very drinkable, has late grip, is a squeezy, w.o.w. wine with good, supple tannins. 14°. Bottled late Sept 2013. 2016-17 Dec 2013

dark heart to the robe. Agreeable blackberry aroma, nice fat, a hint of game. Dark fruits, tar touches on the palate: this keeps its fat via ripe styling, some lat tannin turns up. 14°, note – hand made indications for a vin de pays, the grower prepared to wait, even on “lowly” crop. 2012-13 Dec 2009
2006
baked black fruits aroma; the palate is quite supple – there is black fruit with some menthol in the flavour, late tar and licorice, a little sweetness. To 2010. Dec 2007
