2019 ()

dark red; smoke, cordite airs hover over cassis-blue fruit in the nose, which is nice and thorough. The palate attacks on dark berries, with drive from half way, munchy and layered tannins on board. A pocket of late iron works well. From late 2020. To 2024 Feb 2020

2018 ()

(amphore, bottling Apr 2019) dark red, with purple. Has a minty liqueur, blackberry aroma, comes with a good curve of appeal. The palate holds tasty, aromatic black fruit, black cherry, with a coulis style. It lingers well, has violets threaded through it, ends softly. This is sun-filled and agreeable. 2022-23 Feb 2019
