full yellow; peach, peach stone, apricot juice, brioche, oily aroma. It’s a sturdy start, no messing. The palate gives a path that leads to Condrieu in a more major scale, is well filled, generous, reflects the vintage well. It finishes with suave, wholesome gras. Lot of wine for the money. 14.5° - 2° more than 2016. 89% Vio, 10% Clair, 1% Rouss this year. 20,000 b. €13.50. 2023-24 Feb 2020

2016 ()

yellow, ripe looking robe. The nose is rounded, on peach, orange blossom, vanilla. The palate has the easy charm that Viognier gives, a good, grapey setting, with peach notably towards the finish. This is very good, soft and enjoyable, a wine for la table. There is salt in it, good grip. 12.5°. 89% Vio, 10% Clair, 1% Rouss this year. 20,000 b. To 2022 Mar 2018

2014 ()

pale yellow. The nose leads on a nice, ample Viognier pear and apricot aroma – it is exuberant. This is fat, rolls well, smoothly, has the body for sauced fish, and is a superior IGP. It is long, and the close is tight, spiced. This is a very good, structured white, a wine for la table, one with character. There are fresh moments on the palate, lime notes. The nose is more on Viognier than the other varieties, while the palate combines the three varieties more fully. 12.5°. To 2020 Oct 2015

2006

gracious, salted, tangy nose, but there is substance behind – this mixes freshness and ripeness. The palate is pretty, with a satisfying, tasty mid-palate and nice breadth. This is easy to drink, its length is consecutive, and it is round on the finish. The taste is of white fruits with a fine layer of butter in them. 12.5°. €8.50 here. To 2011. June 2008

2004

soft, ripe fruit aroma with open appeal - shows apricot, flan, touch of fennel. Tasty start to palate, the flavour is white fruits - white plums, pear. Harmonious and runs on well with a nice, understated richness. Plays to the vintage strengths, by being fresh but also full of content. Touch of burn on the aftertaste. To 2012-13. June 2006
