2019

(barrel/casks, bottling end May 2020) red robe. Floral-violet airs accompany notably fine red fruits on a bouquet that gives airborne appeal, is gentle on top, with quiet foundation below. The palate gives bright fruit, has low-key depth, is fine St Jo, a hands-off style, lets the juice do the talking. There are fine droplets on the aftertaste, good. This is accurate, precise. 2029-31 Feb 2020

2018

(casks/barrel, bottling late May 2019) dark red; the bouquet is aromatic, has a gentle air that is floral, holds very well, is lucid and floating, on black fruits. The palate is more tenacious, close-knit, with firm tannins, ways to go, good iron inside, and potential. This is handsome wine with fine juice and floral nudges on the aftertaste, is true to its place. From late-2020, though I don’t think many people will wait that long. 2033-35 Feb 2019
