(vat/casks, bottling May 2020) red robe; the bouquet has a gentle curve of invitation, red fruits traverse it. The attack is good, offers fine fruit, purity, is notably dainty. This very joli, floral, aromatic, gives way to go drinking, is w.o.w. wine. To 2023 Feb 2020

2018 ()

(vat/casks, bottling May 2019) good red robe; has a raspberry, minted aroma, a hint of licorice, is a lucid do. The palate comes with tender fruit, gives real fruit gum pleasure, strawberry prominent, the close rounded. This is serene, most charming, has good grip and a salted touch on the finish. 2014 ()

fine, lucid red colour. Peppery, attractive, appealing strawberry and raspberry fruit aroma, very pure and airborne, with a nudge of flowers. It spreads widely. Slim, beau fruit comes with a real delicate touch, with a lissom gain in depth and concentrated juice on the finish. This has great style, drinkability, is w.o.w. wine. It is salty, peppery, juvenile red-fruited wine. 12°. To 2018 March 2016


(casks, bottling May 2012) attractive purple, with red. Has a clear, direct air, spice and licorice here, kick within the nose. Free, clear fruit extends along the palate, which has “steel” in its sides, is sleek and has cut, leaving a little black cherry on the aftertaste. There is a light degree of firmness in the tannins. Nice and clear wine, suited to solo drinking, standing at the bar. 2016-17. Only 13,000 b this year. March 2012

2010 ()

(fibre glass vat) dark red, violet on the outside. Has a saline note in its black fruit aroma – the bouquet is agreeable, calm. The palate holds compact fruit, is agreeably drinkable, nothing showy. It is backed by tannins of some depth, has a good structure, is not a Show Biz wine – is a wine of the hills. 13°. This is not like many Beaujolais – it has a firmer structure than a Fleurie, for instance, and may wander towards Morgon. To 2015. Nov 2010


fair depth of red in the robe; fine red berry fruit, raspberry, on the nose, a bit of fruit gum, hints of road tar. The palate has a supple, candy red fruit flavour, and widens well before drawing in on its tannins. Its fruit actually resembles the Syrah vin de pays, without the spice. pale red. Reductive, earthy early aroma – 45 minutes` air blows that off, and fine red fruit emerges on the nose. Light, wispy red fruit appears on the palate, has a little sweetness in it, noticeable on the scented finish as well. There is a fine line of mineral through it. Offers real easy, natural drinking, is good. 11.2°, nice and precise. Wine for the here and now, to sometime into 2011, say. Dec 2009

sound even though a bit reduced, suitable for aperitif also.
