2019

very inviting, dark cherry robe; the bouquet is a live affair, leads on blackberry fruit with a sweet ripeness that plugs in well, shows licorice, pepper and a little road tar-rubber. The palate drinks with ease, is enjoyable, the juice fluid and rolling. This is a real stand at the zinc bar and chat the early evening away with friends wine, in the instant, great with grilled sausages also.  The berry fruit is a nice touch sweet, the finish rounded. It’s a real instant quaffer, light and carefree. 13.5°. To 2022 June 2020

2018 ()

dark robe; the bouquet collects around a cassis liqueur, black cherry aroma, has a stewed, mulled fruits’ nature, a sunny gourmandise, with a slight lean towards dampness of a secondary stage. The palate is soft and squeezy, rolls along with supple content and tannins, pockets of perfume in with its mulberry flavour, has a lip smacking finale. It’s suited to steaks, barbecued foods. It carries some of the vintage sun strength in its 14°, has more structure than the more fleeting 2019. To 2022 June 2020
