(vat, bottling May 2020) pale yellow; the nose is gentle, gives a murmur of pear with apricot, butter and floral tones. The palate is textured, supple, with a joli curve at first, then more channelling towards the finish, the aftertaste honeyed, with apricot. It’s unforced, could be more aromatic, but is sympa. 2017 ()

yellow robe, a touch of peach in the hue. The nose involves wax, dried fruits, concentrated apricot juice, brioche baked bread, nuts. The palate is softer than the nose, on quince and apricot flavours, nougat, citrus-orange touches. This holds careful gras at its centre. The aftertaste is minted. The nose is more together than the palate. I reckon that this will justify ***(*) if left until spring 2020. It’s not at all mainstream, to its credit. 2025-27 Feb 2019

2015

yellow robe, with a perlant note to it, signs of spritz. The nose is bold, ripe, surging, on apricot, tang, oak, orange-citrus tang, is a full do. The palate runs with a mix of dried fruits, assertive flavour, citrus edges, carries a fine thread of cut, a bitter note towards the finish. It’s a bit disorderly, shows the vintage effect – firm, heat. It has a touch of extraction, tannin on the end, some gasp there. Must be drunk with food. 14.3°. To 2020 May 2018
