2018 ()

dark red; there’s an oily strength on the nose, 2018 ripeness, airs of liqueur black fruits, cassis intensity. The palate is full, lined with cassis, blue fruit, the second half of it a bit raw. There is sun in it, iron notes, needs to fuse. The tannins are a bit rough, demanding. It has work to do. From mid-2021. 2026-27 Feb 2020

2017

purple-red colour; the nose leads on an expressive, full of pot pourri, dried flowers and their scents, a fragrant basket of roundness, with a touch of pepper-licorice. The palate is also aromatic, easy textured, has plump notes, savoury moments. The tannins are round, the close lip-smacking. This is very perfumed, rather singular. Good with grills. 2023-24 Feb 2019
