dark red. Has an easy, expressive blackberry fruit aroma, soaked red cherries also – it a good, calm and rounded nose. The palate gives supple, well-fruited black fruit content, does just what a St Jo should do – ça passe. It’s good and genuine country wine, with touches of spice, black pepper along the palate. It ends on a small cluster of tannic grip. It’s real good w.o.w. wine for the CHR, bistrot trade. 12.5°. 1,500 b. To 2022 Nov 2017
