2018

pale yellow; the bouquet shows reduction, ripe fruits, musky and grapey notes, vanilla, a little exotic fruit such as guava. The palate presents a fine stream of white fruits, carries good detail, refinement, gives clear and calm drinking, with very joli, fragrant notes. This can drink as an aperitif, or hors d’oeuvres. The fact that it has detail in a hot vintage is an achievement. 12.5°. To 2023 Feb 2020

2017 ()

pale yellow; the nose shows reduction, a cooked, stewed compote of white fruits, apricot, honey, toasting – it holds well. The palate is firm, close-knit, a flavour of dried fruits, nut touches, spine and grip, infused tea on the aftertaste. This is spinal wine, as if also of altitude. The close is salted. This is not bad. It’s just ***(*). Decant it. 13°. 2025-26 Feb 2019

2016

fine yellow robe. White fruits, attractive peach notably feature in a nose of soft sweetness. The palate links well to the nose, comes with good, fresh and suave gras at its middle. This has floral, gentle qualities, is relaxed, natural, fine, a pleasure. 12°. €19. 2021-22 if not messed around during cellaring. Feb 2018
