bright, red-purple robe; red fruit aroma with a hint of the liqueur about it, has but-raisin-baked cake notes, is wide. The palate has a steady depth, expands, and shows a rounded finale, a fleshy close. Sound, good length. It is firm at its heart. From mid-late 2009. To 2014. March 2009

quite a dark robe; elegant black berry aroma. Good quality fruit on the palate – it comes with a little licorice tang, a bit of stuffing beyond the fruit. Has a supple, but good thread of life in it, runs on well, finishes clearly. Tannins still evident on this. Bottled 1 year ago, still shows the vintage finish. 2012-13 June 2007
