thorough, dark red robe with a black core. The bouquet is stylish, curvy, bears a black berry aroma with pedigree, floral notes; it’s very neat, and shows hints of raspberry in the second tier. There’s some Mourvèdre darkness. The palate sequels closely from the nose, into a suave black-fruited content and flavours of date fruit, licorice [from the Mourvèdre], with bendy, savoury tannins that are digestible. This is aromatic Lirac, one with a good silken feel, restraint in its delivery. The finish is finely juiced, pliant. This is serene, shapely Lirac, decanting an aid. 15°. 2028-30 Aug 2018

dark, inviting red robe. Grilled, smoke-tar air that runs ahead of its pretty, clear black fruit aroma, which is round and appealing, shows oak. The palate starts on good, decisive black fruit that has sweet touches here and there. A mix of laurel, thyme and nutmeg feature, and it ends on an orderly grainy, dark, peppery fruit. Well-presented wine, this has character, as if nicely hewn from its rugged outcrops. It lasts well, with rather a tenacious grip there. STGT leaning. 15°. From 2014. 2025-26  May 2013

clean, sympa bouquet – black fruits have rounded appeal, come with herb and garrigue airs as well. There is a soft, plum fruit flavour – the fruit is squeezy, has a late little gras moment. The finish shows a licorice flavour. This is nicely hand made. A genuine, STGT wine. 2022-24 March 2009
