2013

(large barrel) dark purple-garnet hue. Dark berry fruit aroma on the nose with a hint of garrigue. The palate is fresh, juicy and constructed, the fruit present and the finish long and firm. Attractive, digestible quality. Should age. 14.5°. From mid-2016. 2024-25 JL Dec 2014

2012

(large barrel, bottling in 2 weeks) dark, assertive robe, legs down the glass. Prominent, obvious, smooth travelling air of black cherry that has an agreeable ripe glisten about it, is supple enough to be inviting early in life. There is a liqueur fruit stamp on the palate; the fruit travels widely, taps into the gums. Has a weighty, soaked style that forfeits finesse for coating. There is a tight knot on the finish – the charm lessens there. It goes for sweet and obvious appeal. From late 2015. 14.5°. 20,000 b. €13.50 at the cellars. 2022-23  Dec 2013

2010

shiny, inviting dark red robe. There is a spot of sweetness in the blackberry fruit aroma, with agreeably loose mint-flint airs giving it breeze. This bouquet promises to be stylish, and is full. There is a blackberry with rose and violet combination followed by leather and tar towards the finish. This holds classy fruit, delivers waves of good purpose. There is delicate finesse in the tannins that are really precise, have a feathery accuracy. From spring 2013. 14.5°. Great value at €6.22 export price. 2028-30 Dec 2011
