red robe, the top a touch pale. Raspberry with a touch of mixed herbs, rosemary, oregano, show on the nose. The palate is on song now, bears trim red fruits, small berries, redcurrants, drinks clearly, is streamlined and clear, has quiet inner strength. Good with lamb cutlets. 14.5°. To 2020 Feb 2018

2011 ()

shiny dark red; has a suave, elegant nose bearing cassis most of all, with some raspberry, a pocket of licorice with herbs, and some pine. It is wide, and sets up the palate well. The debut of the palate revolves around nicely dusty plains, dark fruit off them, shows its place. It ends on pepper, dust, cassis and blackberry fruit. Good length and structure, too. A good, whole wine from the robe to the aftertaste. Solid quality. 14°. To 2016. €3.11 export price – good value. Oct 2012
