2018

pale, flinty yellow; low temperature fermentation, mainstream aroma, sherbet lemon, pear drop sweets, a note of banana; cultured, not wild, yeasts alert here. The palate has a compote of stewed white fruits flavour, is a little shallow, and drifts on the close. There’s a lack of body and a stable central heart to this. It’s light, escapist, with a candy flavour and a fall away towards the finish. 13.5°. 4,800 b. 25% Grenache blanc, 25% Marsanne, 25% Roussanne. €21. To 2024 April 2020

2016

yellow robe with hints of green; the bouquet has prominent oaking, with a citrus, zested inlay, notes of nuts and peach, tropical fruits. The palate has a quiet start, is at a maturing stage, bears mild gras with a neat, rounded finish that could be more bright, could hold more. It’s in shape to accompany white meats, with oak on the aftertaste to be taken into account. 13.5°. To end 2021 Oct 2020
