sturdy yellow, pear skin hue. Has a stewed fruits aroma with aniseed-fennel touches as a healthy underlay. It’s broad and well-filled, gives a sure start, is also buttery. The palate has a butty, close-knit nature based on traditional varieties, especially Clairette and Grenache blanc. There are notes of infused tea, brioche within. It has good, steady length, and is up for pork dishes. It lasts nicely, with a nutty flavour. This is good, solid, traditional Vacqueyras blanc for la table. 13.5°. 2022-23 July 2018

yellow colour; ripe peach, apricot juice airs, aniseed, a hint of petrol, good variety on the nose. The palate has a flavour of dried fruits, grapiness, infused tea, camomile, joli gras at its centre. It lengthens freshly, the Clairette and aniseed fennel late on, a lively note of grapefruit on the aftertaste. This is tasty, true, has good foundation. 13°. 2023-24 Feb 2018

pale colour. Nutty aroma with a wee note of fennel, peach and apricot jam – the nose is well rounded. The palate is closed in, not expressive, is dull. There is some softness, but it fails to inspire, and is a bit short. Has a white fruit jam flavour. 13°. £106 12 b in bond H2Vin GB www.h2vin.co.uk To 2017  Nov 2014
