(casks) sober dark red. Spice and dusty trail airs lead the nose, a grilled note to it. It’s rather abrupt. The palate is also spiced, bears concentrated juice, the real inside of the grape with the image of thick skins bringing the furriness and compression of the tannins. It’s in a very raw, early state, and reflects the hot growing season. The finish approaches a flavour of dates. It’s a sunbound wine – for casseroles, stews. 14.5°. 2,500 b. clear red robe. Smoky, lightly grilled aroma with good purity in its mainly raspberry fruit; it comes with a stylish freshness. The palate bears enjoyable red fruit, with good cut and good life present. This is a medium weight wine with its own authority, gives attractive drinking, clean as a whistle. Marks for precision. 14°. 1,200 b. 2019-20  Dec 2015
