2 bottles, neither right. Bottle 1: the quite full red robe has a matt angle to it. The bouquet is on the sweet and plain side, has an aroma stewed strawberry with a husky backdrop. It isn’t as clean as it could be. The palate starts on baked and rather compressed notes. Try another bottle. Bottle 2: the nose is similar, and the palate fails to present freshness inside its husky, rather sweet content. Oct 2017

plum coloured robe. The bouquet isn’t truly defined – there is a latent air of raspberry, but it’s blurred. The palate holds sweet red berry fruit with a quiet spot of gras towards the finish, which is round, a bit tame for now. This is subtly intricate Gigondas, with a little freshness as it goes. 13.5°. €16.09. 40,000 b. Bottled May 2015. From mid-2016.  2022-23  Dec 2015
