70% Carignan (1952), 30% Alicante (1977) on clay-limestone soils at 300-380 metres, lower soils white clay, higher soils stony, lower soils ripen 2 weeks ahead of higher soils, Carignan destemmed, vinified with a floating cap at 15°C for 3 weeks, Alicante concrete vat vinified after direct pressing, decantation, concrete vat raised 6 months, zero added SO2, unfined, unfiltered, 4,500 b


red robe; the nose is bright, on raspberry and violet, a good combination, the floral side beckoning well. Refined juice is the first take on the palate; this is supple, aromatic wine of good finesse, and coolness, real good length. This is charming, w.o.w. wine with pleasing body supporting the fruit.
