medium yellow; wavy, expressive nose – wax, ripe stone fruits, pronounced pear, also butter. The palate comes in a similar vein – it is rather big and pronounced,  in the house style, is almost assertive, does not hang back. Has the flavour of nut, honey, dried fruit swirls. It finishes firmly. A wine for la table not aperitif. It is a bit high on scale over finesse. 12.5°. To 2018  Oct 2012

mid-depth yellow; pear, pear skin, nut aroma. The palate is zesty on its outside,, but quite rich within – its texture is clear, and its end roundness is attractive – pretty good for young vines. “We did a lot of crop cutting back – vendange en vert – to cut yields,” Caroline Montez. The balance and length are OK, and there is some grip to this. It stops just a little, but with food you wouldn`t notice that. To 2011. June 2008
