mild, quite pale yellow. Compote, white fruits air, the fruits nicely cooked – the nose has a good centre with light floral edging and mineral and nut notes. The palate delivers a fresh, skimming start; texture and weight are present, but it is operating on elegance. Fine fruits appear on a delicate finish. Comes in a precise mould – suited to aperitif, or lightly seasoned dishes – an in-between Condrieu, as it were. It shows sound length, persistence. 14.5°, so a little apero better than a lot!
