clear, lustrous yellow robe; the bouquet appeals via a variety of prompts, peach, salting, butter, ginger snap. The palate has a sure depth, present well on the attack with enjoyable, unrestrained gras richness, followed by a good tangy finale, spearmint cut there. This carries saline notes that keep its freshness, with the suave, savoury note late on appealing. It’s a very good, authentic and natural Vin de France, one that drinks well, and has enough body for cheese, the mushroom dishes recommended, also poultry. 13°. 2023-24 Jan 2021
