steady yellow robe; the bouquet reflects its Viognier, with a banana, pear roundness, a buttery approach, a hint of aniseed. The palate is creamy on the attack, gives a rolling, fleshy wave of mixed white fruits, vanilla-butter, brioche implants, makes for soft drinking, could be fresher. Its suave texture lines it up for butter-based sauces, soft cheese, Brie de Meaux, for example. It’s more a table than a solo wine. 2016 ()

shiny yellow colour. A nuts, nut paste, white fruits aroma leads the nose, soft pear, white plum with a gracious floral hint adding to its variety. It’s nicely bright. There is a lime-citrus attack in a palate that flows easily, drinks on a smooth texture until a compact, slightly grainy finish, sign-off. This has enough body, a fine richness, for la table. The aftertaste also brings citrus, light tangerine. It ends up and freshly. 13.5°. To 2020 Aug 2017

2012 ()

shiny yellow. Has a “high”, reductive note, shows melted butter under the reduction, stewed pear from the Viognier, apple pure, lemon grass. The palate debut is fat, fleshy, tones down towards the finish. Chilling needed to avoid heaviness. There is a light note of acidity at the end, where there is grip. Apricot and fennel, green apple, ginger combine in the flavour. It is a bit forced on the exit, needs air. €6.25. Bottled April 2013.  To mid-2016.  Nov 2013
