2015 ()

full yellow robe. The nose has a rolling, rounded aroma with some typical Saint-Péray salt present, a note of ripeness via its melon and banana flambé air. The palate offers a comfortable, upholstered gras richness with a little clinch of grip on the close. There is an apricot, compote of white fruits flavour backed by a deft note of aniseed. 2013 ()

yellow robe, legs. Alert, live bouquet, tender airs of white peach, spring flowers, greengage plum; has a little white raisin depth as well. This is good: the palate bears flowing, spiced white fruit, has a little extra depth, a cluster of low-key chewiness, as it finishes. Light salty notes appear along the palate. Good length, all very complete, great balance. Excellent, seductive Saint-Péray. 13°. €15 at the cellars. 70% Mars, 30% Rouss. 2019-20  Jan 2015 Previously Nov 2014 ***(*) very pale; the nose is oaked, but shows a nice amount of fat, white stone fruits and dried fruits in the equation. The palate is well directed, presents straight along fruit with handsome acidity, length. Good, fresh wine in an aperitif style. Implicit oak peeks out on the aftertaste.
